Spring Rolls Into Summer
A Man Young And Old: 8.
Summer And Spring by William Butler Yeats
We sat under an old thorn-tree
And talked away the night,
Told all that had been said or done
Since first we saw the light,
And when we talked of growing up
Knew that we'd halved a soul
And fell the one in t'other's arms
That we might make it whole;
Then peter had a murdering look,
For it seemed that he and she
Had spoken of their childish days
Under that very tree.
O what a bursting out there was,
And what a blossoming,
When we had all the summer-time
And she had all the spring!

Nothing Much Has Changed . . .
From My
I continue to check in every now and again on my account here. I had not planned on being gone or even letting things go for this long but it would seem as if Real Life away from online concerns has kept me far from being here. While I did find the time to change this journal and to write this I haven't had time to do much else. One problem after another seems to crop up, and whether I stand still or not the only difference would be whether I clean up the mess or not. {sighs}
So my friends, if you've drifted away I can hardly say I blame you but if you've chosen to hang in here with me, I will get back to this account sooner or later and the art will start budding, the writing will start flowing. Thank you all for the kind words, fav's and just being friends. See you soon

To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
